These terms govern your use of CanaryLedger’s website, fee calculator, and paid products. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to them.

Services

The fee calculator is free, requires no signup, and runs in your browser. It estimates marketplace fees from the numbers you enter. US and UK rates are calibrated against real seller payment records; other countries are shown as estimates.

The Shop Health Audit is a one-time paid report ($49) delivered by email within 48 hours after we receive the materials we need. Starter ($9/month) and Guard ($19/month) are planned subscription products launching December 2026; requesting “Notify me” does not create a charge.

No tax or legal advice

CanaryLedger provides fee breakdowns and listing risk signals for operational decisions. It does not file taxes, replace an accountant, or provide legal advice. You remain responsible for your tax filings, marketplace compliance, and listing content.

Refunds

For the $49 Shop Health Audit: if we have not yet delivered the report, you may request a full refund by emailing [email protected]. After the report has been delivered, fees are non-refundable except where required by law. Digital products may have limited return rights depending on your jurisdiction.

Acceptable use

You may only upload data you have the right to share. Do not attempt to disrupt the site, scrape it at abusive volume, or misrepresent our estimates as official marketplace statements.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will first be addressed in good faith by email; if unresolved, they may be brought in the courts of Hong Kong, China.
